Upon arrival to airport in Ho Chi Minh City, you are welcome by our tour guide and driver to transfer to hotel in the center of the city. The rest of the day is your own time to relax after a long flight or to wander in the zone around your hotel.

Depending on your flight schedule, you can choose to join optional excursion for your first day in Vietnam:

Dinner Cruise on Saigon River - from $30

You will be picked up at hotel and transfer to the pier. Setting foot on a cruise to enjoy dinner meanwhile the cruise setting sails along the Saigon River for a totally new view to the city will surely be a great way to start your journey.

Saigon Night Life Tour by Motorbike - from $43

One way to experience the city at night: on a two-wheel bike like a real local, you are going to enjoy the vibrant spirit of Saigon when the sun goes down and the lights are on.

Pick up at hotel and get to the Cai Be jetty at 10:00 am. You will be welcomed with cold towels and a refreshing drink while the Cai Be Princess sampan sets off for its leisure cruise on the busy waterways.

On the river, boat traffic is endless and the activity never ceases. Observe from the comfort of your sampan life as it plays out on the riverbanks - the people, the stunning landscapes - while your attentive crew serves you tea and seasonal fruit. At Tan Phong Islet board a little rowing boat to explore the canal’s hidden mangroves. Return to your sampan to visit an ancient house built in the 19th century.

We’ll make stops along the way to provide glimpses of local cottage industries: coconut candy and puffed rice (the local equivalent of popcorn), products that provide a living for the river people. Your cruise ends at Le Longanier Restaurant. Lunch is served in this exquisite colonial-style villa set in a lush tropical garden by the river, surrounded by fruit trees, giving you a sense of life during Indochinese times.

After lunch, at around 2:30 pm, take a short walk along a small canal, towards the Ba Bon Bridge where your personal vehicle waiting to take you to Ho Chi Minh City. Arrive at your hotel at around 4:30 pm.

It's your free time until the pick up for flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival in Da Nang airport, transfer to hotel in Hoi An for relax and refreshment. Free time for the rest of the day.

Hoi An Town

Tour guide welcome you at the hotel lobby to start the day, ride a bicycle to a herb village - a little charming village lies on the edge of Hoi An . It is named after the sweetly scented vegetable. There you can get the wonderful farming life scenery with plenty of vegetables and local farmers hard-working on their own garden.

Nearly 60% of Vietnam’s population engages in farming. In order to get a real insight into the hardship of growing vegetables, spend some hours helping the local farmers with their daily tasks. On the edge of Hoi An Ancient town lays Cam Thanh Eco village, known for scented vegetables that spice up local dishes.

Upon arrival, take a tour around the vegetable gardens and join the farmers in preparing and fertilizing the land. Get to know the villagers’ daily working routines, like raking the ground, sowing, watering and picking greens and many more gardening activities.

Your work will be rewarded with a delicious locally prepared meal. Have a lunch at the local family. All of these farming activities make up an unique and special tour that will be an unforgettable experience on your trip to Vietnam. Back to hotel by bike and have free time for the rest of the day.

Now you are having a complete free day to enjoy this worth-to-live city. We leave this day free so you will have time to enjoy the day by your own way. But if you want to take advantage of time to know more about the zone, we suggest some destination that you might hear of: My Son Sanctuary, Cu Lao Cham Island, Hai Van Pass, etc.

Hoi An

The car will pick you up at hotel, transfer to Da Nang airport for flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival you will be picked up to hotel in Hanoi, have some time to take a rest.

At around 18:00 tour guide will pick up at hotel to start the local excursion also to get to know the city of Hanoi, taste the local food that might not appear in restaurants or walk into hidden corners that they will not take you to in normal tours. Back to hotel and have free time (you can request to end the excursion in one coffee shop near your hotel to have time watching and enjoying the city a bit).

On this day you will visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed on Monday, Friday and during the months of September and October) and his former residence (closed on Monday and Friday), One-Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature, known as the first university of Vietnam and built more than 1,000 years ago.

Continue the city tour to Museum of Ethnology.

After lunch at local restaurant, enjoy a leisurely one-hour cyclo tour through Hanoi. Visit the beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple then a walking tour into the hidden alleys of Hanoi Old Quarter.

Optional: If you are not interested in Cylco you can change it to a Water Puppet Show.

Around 16:30, return to your hotel.

Hanoi Old Quarter

Tour guide will find you wait for you at hotel's lobby, then transfer to pier in Halong to embark on cruise. You will receive a welcome drink and short brief of cruise manager and then check-in to cabin. Lunch is served on board while the cruise setting sails into the bay.

Depending on cruise's program you will join excursions to cave and island of the bay, enjoy on bamboo boat rowed by local people or kayaking.

After the excursion, back to cruise to participate on Cooking Class to learn about the Vietnamese cuisine.

Dinner will be served on board at around 19:00. In the free time you can enjoy a drink at the bar or relax on sundeck. After dinner it's your leisure time to enjoy a chat around the bar, watching movies, relaxing and spending a romantic night on Pelican Cruise, playing cards, chess are available, reading magazines in room and dining room. You may also try your luck at squid fishing & fishing from the boat.

Kayaking

Taking part in Tai Chi class on the sundeck (duration is about 30 minutes). Coffee, tea and pastries for breakfast are served in the dining room with morning view of bay’s landscape.

Transfer to day boat for visiting Cua Van Village by a rustic-row boat, meet the local people who will help you row the boat for sightseeing. Enjoy quiet space and fresh air, you will feel truly relaxing.

Back to day boat for visiting Bai Tu Long Bay, enjoy the beauty of Bai Tu Long Bay or swimming at Ba Ham Lake area situated in the middle of a narrow, rectangular area, with the all four sides enclosed by vertical cliffs.

Set menu lunch served on day boat. Then get back to cruise. Free time on boat for relaxing.

Deluxe Vietnamese Dinner will be served.

Join the Tai Chi class on the sundeck to feel the fresh air and refresh your body to start a new day. After that the crew serve breakfast with coffee and tea in the dining room.

Get on tender to visit the Sung Sot Cave, one of the biggest caves in Halong Bay with amazing stalactites and stalagmites. Prepare your camera to capture great moments of your journey.

We recommend you to wear comfortable shoes.

Getting back to the cruise, time to check out and settle the bill of services that you used on board (drinks, massage, etc.) at reception. Lunch is served while the cruise sails back to port. You can relax on the sundeck or in the dining room enjoying the bay scenery while approaching the wharf.

Disembark and say goodbye to the crew.

Transfer back to Hanoi with a short stop of about 30 minutes for refreshment.
